Nichole
Klebba

I am a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from Michigan State University. Since 2007, I’ve built a wide-ranging clinical background, blending deep experience with specialized training to support meaningful, lasting change.

I’m especially passionate about the mind–body connection and the powerful role the brain and nervous system play in healing. I support individuals navigating chronic pain and physical symptoms—such as IBS, headaches, pelvic pain, dizziness, chronic tendinitis, and fibromyalgia—as well as anxiety and depression. I hold a certificate in Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT), an evidence-based approach that helps retrain the brain’s response to pain signals, and I am also trained in Emotional Awareness & Expression Therapy (EAET). In my work, I integrate Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Experiencing (SE), and other trauma-informed, solution-focused modalities to help clients cultivate self-compassion, strengthen boundaries, and reconnect with their own courage and curiosity.

Alongside my professional training, my lived experience as a mother of two gives me a heartfelt understanding of fertility challenges, postpartum mental health, caregiving within the sandwich generation, and the peri/menopausal transition. My career has also included extensive work in health and wellness, substance use treatment, and palliative and hospice care, where I’ve had the honor of walking beside individuals and families through loss, grief, and profound life transitions.

I believe meaningful healing happens within a therapeutic relationship that feels safe, supportive, and grounded in trust. When genuine connection and mutual respect are present, it opens the door to honest exploration, deeper insight, and compassionate growth.

Outside of my work, you’ll often find me swimming early morning laps, cheering on my soccer-loving kids, or experimenting in the kitchen. I have a soft spot for ’90s hip-hop music, and I support my own well-being through daily breathwork and vagus nerve toning practices to keep my nervous system regulated and resilient. I specialize in:

  • Chronic Pain

Your body and mind are constantly connected, and with chronic pain or ongoing symptoms, the nervous system can stay on high alert—intensifying both physical discomfort and emotional stress until pain feels unavoidable. By understanding how thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations interact, you can interrupt this cycle through nervous system regulation, cognitive strategies, and mind-body science that calm the stress response and retrain the brain. This approach can reduce pain, improve mood, and restore a sense of control and safety—showing that healing is possible without surgeries, injections, or treatments that haven’t provided lasting relief.

  • Grief

Even in life’s heaviest seasons, healing is possible. Grief can feel overwhelming—whether from the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a dream, or a chapter of life—but you don’t have to navigate it alone. Together, we create a compassionate, safe space to honor your story, express emotions without judgment, and gently uncover moments of peace, connection, and renewed purpose. Rather than trying to “get over” grief, our work focuses on integrating loss in a way that allows meaning, love, and possibility to grow again.

  • Maternal Mental Health

Motherhood is a profound journey filled with love, change, and sometimes unexpected challenges. Whether you’re navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustments, fertility struggles, or shifts in identity, you don’t have to face it alone. I offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space to share your story, process complex emotions, and learn tools to support your mental and emotional well-being. Together, we’ll work to ease overwhelm, anxiety, sadness, or isolation while helping you reconnect with your sense of self and capacity for joy.
